I LOVE masking. I love it almost as much as I love taking baths. What’s not to love? You instantly feel pampered and more positive, your skin’s appearance improves, and it’s all from the comfort of home. The only part I don’t like about masks is having to pause “The Office” and get up off of the couch to rinse it off ? I’ve made a list of 5 of my favorite masks that I think will save your skin!
First, we all have different skin types…Obvi. I would consider mine to be “combination skin”. After years of testing out an endless list of masks, I definitely have some favorites that I repurchase again and again. Because I do have combo skin I promise there is something on this list for everyone, no matter what skin type you have!
Here are my top 5 favorite masks that will save your skin:

Generation Clay “brightening purple clay mask”
I received this mask in my FabFitFun box (to get a FabFitFun box too, click here!). I had never heard of the brand but was pleasantly surprised after using this product.
It’s kind of an “all in one” mask claiming to reduce signs of aging, brighten and boost hydration, and improve the look of pores and skin texture. I do feel like my skin immediately looks better after using this mask, so I guess the claims are true!

Lush “Mask of Magnaminty”
First of all…It smells like PEPPERMINT! It is a great one to use when you are just feeling kind of blah and want a deep clean feeling. I also love the calming effect the honey inside this mask. My esthetician taught me all about how great honey is for your skin!
Because it’s made with ground aduki beans in it, it doubles as a manual exfoliator. Once you are ready to rinse the mask off, just massage it in circles with some water on your fingertips! It’s the perfect pick me up because of its refreshing smell and tingly feel…PERFECTION!
Honest Beauty “Prime + Perfect Mask”

I learned about this mask while watching Jessica Alba’s Vogue makeup tutorial on YouTube. She is the creator of “Honest Beauty” so of course she was plugging her own mask! It’s designed to be used as a prep tool before the rest of your beauty routine in the mornings. I always use it when I’m having a “Getting Ready Party!”
The first thing you will notice when you apply the mask is how AMAZING it smells. It’s made with superfruits packed with antioxidants (great for your skin!) and shea butter, oooh la la! After using it my skin was instantly softer, more awake, and ready for makeup application.
Peter Thomas Roth “Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Dermal Resurfacer”

I first learned about this mask while working at Sephora. Girls would always come in asking for free samples because it is a pricier mask. I promise you it’s worth it!
I use this mask whenever I notice my skin looking dull, or the texture seems off. The AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) work as chemical exfoliators to polish the skin and give a warm tingle while they are working their magic. The fragrance from the pumpkin enzymes ain’t bad either…yum!
*If you have sensitive skin I would be careful with this one, as the “warm tingle” I talk about may feel more like a burn for you!

Origins “clear improvement active charcoal mask to clear pores”
Everyone needs some sort of charcoal mask in their collection. So many I have used previously come with expensive price tags, so I love that this one from Origins is under $30!
I like to use this product mainly as a spot treatment for acne or in the T-zone to help with my enlarged pores. The Bamboo Charcoal and White China Clay in it help to draw out debris and oil from your skin, so if you have an oily skin type you will LOVE this mask! I honestly love every single Origins mask I have tried (the have a ton), but I can’t talk about them all or we’d be here all day!

So there you have it, my top 5 favorite masks that will save your skin. I hope you found this list fun and helpful, and I would love to hear what your favorite mask is. Leave me a comment below!
