If you haven’t seen the spring tie-dye trend yet, you must be living under a rock because it’s everywhere!
I first started seeing the trend a bit last year, showing up in higher-end brands that I know I couldn’t afford on a regular basis. I am SO happy to see so much tie-dye popping up from more affordable designers now! More on where I like to shop for it later.
Are you with me on the nostalgia of this trend ladies? I was instantly taken back to my 10th birthday party when I first saw tie-dye pieces popping up in stores and online. It was a “hippie” themed slumber party with exactly ten girls, since I was allowed to invite the number of girls that correlated with the age I was turning. We spent the whole night watching “Spice World”, eating pizza off of groovy peace sign paper plates, and of course…tie-dying t-shirts! Who knew twenty years later I’d be rocking the style again in my everyday looks.
To me, this trend couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s the perfect way to spruce up your wardrobe after retiring all the glam sparkle pieces from the holidays. Tie-dye definitely adds to any outfit with the fun colors and youthful vibe.
Some of my favorite places to shop for this trend are Target, Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Forever 21.
If you want some help finding a BUNCH of tie-dye, I got you! I put together a ton of pieces for you to shop right here. So happy shopping, and peace and love!
